Mug shots of four authors who wound up getting arrested.

Ezra Pound - Pound made anti-American radio broadcasts during World War II. He was arrested as a traitor in 1945. One of the 20th century's most influential -- and controversial - poets in the English language. His life's work is titled "The Cantos".

Emma Goldman - arrested February 11, 1916 for promoting birth control. How dare she? Her autobiography is titled "Living My Life".

Malcolm X (Malcolm Little) -  civil rights leader, author of "The Autobiography of Malcom X", arrested for burglary.

Dalton Trumbo - author of many famous screenplays, including "Roman Holiday", he was also blacklisted by Joseph McCarthy.  In 1947, Trumbo was sentenced to a jail term for refusing to testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee. Good for him!
